Job Summary The Executive Director is responsible for managing the human and financial resources of the San Juan Symphony (SJS) in order to achieve the organization’s mission. The Executive Director implements policy as set by the Board and is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the organization. The Executive Director also works with artistic staff to develop each season, to build audiences and donor bases, and to act entrepreneurially to develop new relationships and resources.
Qualifications Exceptional administrative and organizational skills; proven record of success in community relations, fundraising and marketing; strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills; experience in the non-profit sector as well as budgeting and financial management; some background in music preferred.
