DESCRIPTION:Shakespeare: Sing Me a Scene\nSaturday\, May 10\, 7 PM and Sunday\, May 11\, 3 PM\nDurango Arts Center\nThe San Juan Symphony Chamber Singers collaborate with the Durango Arts\nRepertory Theatre troupe to perform best-loved scenes from Shakespeare\, paired\nwith songs that set these iconic texts to music. Elizabeth Crawford\, Chamber Singers\ndirector\, and Monica DiBiasio\, Theatre Artistic Managing Director of the Durango Arts Center\nRepertory Theatre\, or DART\, have created an original program integrating famous\nscenes from Macbeth\, Midsummer Night’s Dream\, Romeo and Juliet\, Hamlet\, and\nmore\, with choral and solo works by composers such as Ralph Vaughan Williams\,\nCole Porter\, Sarah Quartel\, and Leonard Bernstein.
