Mathematics meets music for kids, with concepts like counting, meter, phrase, pulse, harmony, polyphony, chromatics, and more.
The story of the very first orchestra begins in a faraway land, where four fussy families had to learn to work together to make music. The San Juan Symphony presents “The Harmony Games,” featuring narrator, conductor, and chamber orchestra in a concert experience that will entertain and educate using incredible music. Audiences will find themselves swept up in the story, taking part, interacting, answering math problems, even cracking jokes! Good fun for all ages and an introduction to the families of instruments.
